The only thing I can think that doesn’t go to plan is after loading up the SixAxis pair tool. If I remove the PS3 controller, it will say “No device found”. Have you tried using MotionJoy instead of the sixaxis pairing tool? Windows has a safe mode; you could try installing in that, however it may not work then because safemode trys to only load the device drivers that are absolutely neccessary. To be honest, I wasn’t even aware the PS3 controllers had a “reset” button behind them

If you’re on a Windows 7 PC, you’ll also need to install the Xbox controller driver. Back into the pair tool and it wants to change the driver back again from motioninjoy. Switch to Hybrid Mode.
